Six Feet Under Pub & Fish House - Atlanta, GA

After riding in the city being stuck in traffic during HEAVY traffic at 4pm, I was craving some seafood at a reasonable price in the city of Atlanta. In the midst of celebrating a close friends accomplishments in her career, we decided to check out Six Feet Under - West Midtown. I’ve always heard great things about the breathtaking view of Atlanta's skyline you can see on the  rooftop of the restaurant that was also recently named among Travel + Leisure magazine’s Top 30 American outdoor bars. It was a win on both sides because I was able to get out of traffic and experience great scenery & atmosphere while digging into my steamed & fried seafood adventure.

Here's everything you need to know if you're planning on making this tasty trip in the Atlanta area:

Parking:

Available & offer valet for $2 or park on the street. They have a designated parking lot just past the restaurant diagonally across the street.

The Service:

The customer service from the staff was exceptionally friendly from the host to the waiter to the bar tender. Food came out very reasonable time and drinks were made to perfection and in a very timeline manner as well.

Menu:

A plethora of options on the menu(More so known for fried seafood)

Ambiance & Decor:

It’s a laid back, fun, great post-work hangout for a nice seafood fix with great drinks.

The food was AMAZING!!!! Surprisingly Fresh food due to the fact Atlanta has no body of water.

My Order:

SIX FEET UNDER STEAMER - $45

Canadian snow crab legs, shrimp, oysters, mussels, sausage, corn on the cob, new potatoes & jalapeño hush puppies. Serves two to four people. Any seafood substitution will be an additional $5 per item.

(Add one King Crab Leg to your steamer for $9.25.)

Gulf Oysters came out very clean, fresh and the oysters had a nice brine. They’ll satisfy any mild craving.

GATOR BITES  $13.50

The bites were flaky, crispy, golden and melted in your mouth as you chew. With a hint of a Little spice, the bites remind you of the texture of chicken 🍗

Like I said, we were celebrating, so I added a couple of drinks to my tab as well:

2 blue moons $5.75 (each)

1 Stella Rosa Moscato (House price)

And finally, the food was so good, I had to get some to-go:

Combo basket (fried catfish, oysters, shrimp & fries) - $14.75

All together, with the convenience, the view and atmosphere, stellar service and of course the amazing food, my total came to $105.

Overall Rating out of Scale 1-10 ⭐️ : 9 ⭐️  (Would be an easy 10 if there were more options for steamed seafood).

Six Feet Under will satisfy the seafood lover & foodie anywhere, so I highly recommend that if you're in Atlanta at any point in time and hungry, remember this, and go feast at Six Feet Under! You're welcome.
